Dynamic viscosity
Convert millipascal-second (mPa·s) to pascal-second (Pa·s). Dynamic viscosity is a fluid's resistance to shear — the property that sets the Reynolds number and the friction factor.
1 mPa·s = 0.001 Pa·s
To convert millipascal-second to pascal-second, multiply the mPa·s value by 0.001. To go the other way, divide by 0.001 (or multiply by 1000).

Liquid viscosities are usually quoted in centipoise (cP); water is about 1 cP at room temperature.
One centipoise equals exactly one millipascal-second, the convenient bridge between the cgs and SI conventions.
Worked example. A dynamic viscosity of 1 mPa·s is 0.001 Pa·s.
Multiply the value in mPa·s by 0.001 to get Pa·s. For example, 10 mPa·s = 0.01 Pa·s.
1 mPa·s equals 0.001 Pa·s.
