Dynamic viscosity
Convert pound per foot-second (lb/(ft·s)) to pascal-second (Pa·s). Dynamic viscosity is a fluid's resistance to shear — the property that sets the Reynolds number and the friction factor.

One centipoise equals exactly one millipascal-second, the convenient bridge between the cgs and SI conventions.
Worked example. A dynamic viscosity of 0.000671969 lb/(ft·s) is 0.001 Pa·s.
Multiply the value in lb/(ft·s) by 1.488164 to get Pa·s. For example, 10 lb/(ft·s) = 14.88164 Pa·s.
