Mass flow
Convert pound per hour (lb/h) to pound per second (lb/s). Mass flow rate is the mass passing a point per unit time — the conserved quantity in a material balance, independent of temperature and pressure.

To convert pound per hour to pound per second, multiply the lb/h value by 0.0002777778. To go the other way, divide by 0.0002777778 (or multiply by 3600).

Multiply the value in lb/h by 0.0002777778 to get lb/s. For example, 10 lb/h = 0.002777778 lb/s.
1 lb/h equals 0.0002777778 lb/s.
