Mass flow
Convert kilogram per hour (kg/h) to gram per second (g/s). Mass flow rate is the mass passing a point per unit time — the conserved quantity in a material balance, independent of temperature and pressure.
1 kg/h = 0.2777778 g/s
To convert kilogram per hour to gram per second, multiply the kg/h value by 0.2777778. To go the other way, divide by 0.2777778 (or multiply by 3.6).

Relief loads and heat duties depend on mass flow, not volumetric flow — keep the two straight when a stream's density changes.
Worked example. A mass flow rate of 10000 kg/h is 2777.778 g/s.
Multiply the value in kg/h by 0.2777778 to get g/s. For example, 10 kg/h = 2.777778 g/s.
1 kg/h equals 0.2777778 g/s.
