Power
Convert mechanical horsepower (hp) to BTU per hour (BTU/hr). Power is energy per unit time — the rating of pumps, compressors, motors, and heat duties.
1 hp = 2544.434 BTU/hr
To convert mechanical horsepower to BTU per hour, multiply the hp value by 2544.434. To go the other way, divide by 2544.434 (or multiply by 0.0003930148).

Electrical input, shaft power, and hydraulic power differ by the efficiencies between them — label which one a number refers to.
Worked example. A power of 134.1022 hp is 341214.2 BTU/hr.
Multiply the value in hp by 2544.434 to get BTU/hr. For example, 10 hp = 25444.34 BTU/hr.
