Power
Convert BTU per hour (BTU/hr) to mechanical horsepower (hp). Power is energy per unit time — the rating of pumps, compressors, motors, and heat duties.
1 BTU/hr = 0.0003930148 hp
To convert BTU per hour to mechanical horsepower, multiply the BTU/hr value by 0.0003930148. To go the other way, divide by 0.0003930148 (or multiply by 2544.434).

Multiply the value in BTU/hr by 0.0003930148 to get hp. For example, 10 BTU/hr = 0.003930148 hp.
