Mass flow
Convert gram per second (g/s) to pound per hour (lb/h). Mass flow rate is the mass passing a point per unit time — the conserved quantity in a material balance, independent of temperature and pressure.
1 g/s = 7.936641 lb/h
To convert gram per second to pound per hour, multiply the g/s value by 7.936641. To go the other way, divide by 7.936641 (or multiply by 0.1259979).

Relief loads and heat duties depend on mass flow, not volumetric flow — keep the two straight when a stream's density changes.
Worked example. A mass flow rate of 2777.778 g/s is 22046.23 lb/h.
Multiply the value in g/s by 7.936641 to get lb/h. For example, 10 g/s = 79.36641 lb/h.
