Dynamic viscosity
Convert centipoise (cP) to millipascal-second (mPa·s). Dynamic viscosity is a fluid's resistance to shear — the property that sets the Reynolds number and the friction factor.
1 cP = 1 mPa·s
To convert centipoise to millipascal-second, multiply the cP value by 1. To go the other way, divide by 1 (or multiply by 1).

Liquid viscosities are usually quoted in centipoise (cP); water is about 1 cP at room temperature.
One centipoise equals exactly one millipascal-second, the convenient bridge between the cgs and SI conventions.
Worked example. A dynamic viscosity of 1 cP is 1 mPa·s.
Multiply the value in cP by 1 to get mPa·s. For example, 10 cP = 10 mPa·s.
