Convert megawatt (MW) to million BTU per hour (MMBTU/hr). Power is energy per unit time — the rating of pumps, compressors, motors, and heat duties.
1 MW = 3.412142 MMBTU/hr
To convert megawatt to million BTU per hour, multiply the MW value by 3.412142. To go the other way, divide by 3.412142 (or multiply by 0.2930711).

Electrical input, shaft power, and hydraulic power differ by the efficiencies between them — label which one a number refers to.
Worked example. A power of 0.1 MW is 0.3412142 MMBTU/hr.
Multiply the value in MW by 3.412142 to get MMBTU/hr. For example, 10 MW = 34.12142 MMBTU/hr.
