Volume
Convert millilitre (mL) to cubic metre (m³). Volume sizes tanks, vessels, and batch charges, in m³, litres, US gallons, or barrels.
1 mL = 1e-6 m³
To convert millilitre to cubic metre, multiply the mL value by 1e-6. To go the other way, divide by 1e-6 (or multiply by 1000000).
| mL | m³ |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1e-6 |
| 2 | 2e-6 |
| 5 | 5e-6 |
| 10 | 1e-5 |
| 25 | 2.5e-5 |
| 50 | 5e-5 |
| 100 | 1e-4 |
| 250 | 0.00025 |
| 500 | 0.0005 |
| 1000 | 0.001 |
Tank and vessel capacities are quoted in m³ or US gallons; oil volumes in barrels.
A US gallon and an Imperial gallon differ by about 20 % — confirm which one a spec means.
Worked example. A volume of 1e+7 mL is 10 m³.
Multiply the value in mL by 1e-6 to get m³. For example, 10 mL = 1e-5 m³.
1 mL equals 1e-6 m³.
