Convert litre (L) to cubic metre (m³). Volume sizes tanks, vessels, and batch charges, in m³, litres, US gallons, or barrels.
1 L = 0.001 m³
To convert litre to cubic metre, multiply the L value by 0.001. To go the other way, divide by 0.001 (or multiply by 1000).

A US gallon and an Imperial gallon differ by about 20 % — confirm which one a spec means.
Worked example. A volume of 10000 L is 10 m³.
Multiply the value in L by 0.001 to get m³. For example, 10 L = 0.01 m³.
1 L equals 0.001 m³.
