Volumetric flow
Convert cubic metre per hour (m³/h) to US gallon per hour (US gph). Volumetric flow rate is the volume of fluid passing a point per unit time — the basis for line sizing, pump duty, and instrument ranging.
1 m³/h = 264.172 US gph
To convert cubic metre per hour to US gallon per hour, multiply the m³/h value by 264.172. To go the other way, divide by 264.172 (or multiply by 0.003785412).
| m³/h | US gph |
|---|---|
| 1 | 264.172 |
| 2 | 528.3441 |
| 5 | 1320.86 |
| 10 | 2641.72 |
| 25 | 6604.301 |
| 50 | 13208.6 |
| 100 | 26417.2 |
| 250 | 66043.01 |
| 500 | 132086 |
| 1000 | 264172 |
Pump and line duties are quoted in m³/h or US gpm; instrument and utility flows often in L/min or ft³/s.
Volumetric flow depends on temperature and pressure for gases — convert on the same basis (actual vs standard) to avoid errors.
Worked example. A flow rate of 3600 m³/h is 951019.4 US gph.
Multiply the value in m³/h by 264.172 to get US gph. For example, 10 m³/h = 2641.72 US gph.
1 m³/h equals 264.172 US gph.
