Mass flow
Convert pound per second (lb/s) to kilogram per hour (kg/h). Mass flow rate is the mass passing a point per unit time — the conserved quantity in a material balance, independent of temperature and pressure.

Relief loads and heat duties depend on mass flow, not volumetric flow — keep the two straight when a stream's density changes.
Worked example. A mass flow rate of 6.123952 lb/s is 10000 kg/h.
Multiply the value in lb/s by 1632.933 to get kg/h. For example, 10 lb/s = 16329.33 kg/h.
