Power
Convert kilowatt (kW) to BTU per hour (BTU/hr). Power is energy per unit time — the rating of pumps, compressors, motors, and heat duties.
1 kW = 3412.142 BTU/hr
To convert kilowatt to BTU per hour, multiply the kW value by 3412.142. To go the other way, divide by 3412.142 (or multiply by 0.0002930711).

Electrical input, shaft power, and hydraulic power differ by the efficiencies between them — label which one a number refers to.
Worked example. A power of 100 kW is 341214.2 BTU/hr.
Multiply the value in kW by 3412.142 to get BTU/hr. For example, 10 kW = 34121.42 BTU/hr.
