Density
Convert kilogram per cubic metre (kg/m³) to gram per cubic centimetre (g/cm³). Density is mass per unit volume — it links volumetric and mass flow, sets hydrostatic head, and drives pump and relief calculations.
1 kg/m³ = 0.001 g/cm³
To convert kilogram per cubic metre to gram per cubic centimetre, multiply the kg/m³ value by 0.001. To go the other way, divide by 0.001 (or multiply by 1000).

Liquid densities are quoted in kg/m³ or as specific gravity; gas densities are much smaller and pressure-dependent.
Density converts a volumetric flow to a mass flow and vice versa — the single most common bridge in a material balance.
Worked example. A density of 1000 kg/m³ is 1 g/cm³.
Multiply the value in kg/m³ by 0.001 to get g/cm³. For example, 10 kg/m³ = 0.01 g/cm³.
