Density
Convert gram per litre (g/L) to kilogram per cubic metre (kg/m³). Density is mass per unit volume — it links volumetric and mass flow, sets hydrostatic head, and drives pump and relief calculations.
1 g/L = 1 kg/m³
To convert gram per litre to kilogram per cubic metre, multiply the g/L value by 1. To go the other way, divide by 1 (or multiply by 1).

Liquid densities are quoted in kg/m³ or as specific gravity; gas densities are much smaller and pressure-dependent.
Density converts a volumetric flow to a mass flow and vice versa — the single most common bridge in a material balance.
Worked example. A density of 1000 g/L is 1000 kg/m³.
Multiply the value in g/L by 1 to get kg/m³. For example, 10 g/L = 10 kg/m³.
1 g/L equals 1 kg/m³.
