Mass flow
Convert kilogram per hour (kg/h) to pound per hour (lb/h). Mass flow rate is the mass passing a point per unit time — the conserved quantity in a material balance, independent of temperature and pressure.
1 kg/h = 2.204623 lb/h
To convert kilogram per hour to pound per hour, multiply the kg/h value by 2.204623. To go the other way, divide by 2.204623 (or multiply by 0.4535924).

Relief loads and heat duties depend on mass flow, not volumetric flow — keep the two straight when a stream's density changes.
Worked example. A mass flow rate of 10000 kg/h is 22046.23 lb/h.
Multiply the value in kg/h by 2.204623 to get lb/h. For example, 10 kg/h = 22.04623 lb/h.
1 kg/h equals 2.204623 lb/h.
