Velocity
Convert foot per second (ft/s) to mile per hour (mph). Velocity is distance per unit time — the line-sizing quantity that flags erosion, noise, and pressure drop.
1 ft/s = 0.6818182 mph
To convert foot per second to mile per hour, multiply the ft/s value by 0.6818182. To go the other way, divide by 0.6818182 (or multiply by 1.466667).
